A Tribute...

So I went to happy harry's the other day to pick up some cherry flavored chapstick, because I was really craving it. So I was lookin everywhere for it and then I spotted something. It wasn't the cherry flavored chapstick, no, it was something even more appealing. It was a full stash of Lisa Frank folders! Suddenly images of elementary school popped into my head. The pencils adorned with pictures of cute little animated horses and monkeys. The erasers that came in neon green and pink, the trapper keepers, oh those bulky seizure instilling bright, Lisa Frank trapper keepers! Lisa Frank was the fashion icon for every girl in 5th grade. You were cool if you had anything Lisa Frank, but got damnit you were the coolest if you had the whole Lisa Frank set! I of course was poor and could therefore only afford the little mechanical pencils. But nonetheless I was still cool! but my goodness. I was so ready to buy one of those lil folders, until my friend Memo tapped me on my shoulder and said "um boo, chapstick remember?" I still had the urge to purchase the folder, but I realized I had only bought $1 to the store with me and I the more and more I decided which item to take home my lips were becoming more and more dry, So I slowly walked away from the Lisa Frank section, head down and all. I went into happy harry's that day feenin for some cherry flavored chapstick and I left feenin' for some Lisa Frank!
