So here's some news fellow America's Got Talent and Mr. Berlin Wall himself, David Hasselhoff tells AOL's the TV Tattler that he wanted to produce and Star in the "Baywatch Musical" Now I can't even imagine what that's gonna be like. Well actually I can most certainly imagine what that's gonna be like I just don't feel like peeing in my panties rite now. I mean seriously can you imagine? What, are they seriously gonna let some half naked bimbos in god awful orange one-pieces strum along on any Broadway stage? and what would the songs be about? Ha! Stephen Sondheim would be front row, giving the middle finger to every act. But I mean seriously although it would probably be one big bomber, you would go wouldn't you? To be honest... I would, just so I could illegally take pics of it then post them up on here, for you all to laugh at! okay maybe I'm being a little cruel, Baywatch wasn't that bad of a show. It had some of the highest viewer ratings for a 90s television "drama". But then again half of those viewer ratings came from 34 year old men still living at home with their parents collecting star wars paraphernalia and still fantasizing about the day when they'll get their first kiss. Got Damn! Im a mean [btch.] lol
Ok so Im leaving for New York tomorrow. And I have been packing for about 3 days now. I didn't realize how frustrating it is. Im so used to my mommy doing it for me, so what if I'm spoiled! But yea first I had to pull out all the clothes im gonna bring, then I realized that a good 83% of those clothes were not yet washed. So then I had to wash them, which was the worst thing in the world. My sister and mother kept taking my clothes out of the washer just so they could wash theirs. Im like "Hello! I'm The [btch.] thats leaving!!" So once my clothes were done being washed. I had to fold them. and place them in 2 big ass suitcases. Then I realized that I still hadn't packed any shoes. And I have lots of em. So I had to pack my shoes in a totally new suitcase. Then I realized that I didn't pack any of my accessories. So I pulled out all of my jewelry spread them out on the floor and categorized them by the type of jewelry it was; earrings, necklaces, bracelets etc. Then my OCD ass inter-categorized the type of jewelry by the material it was made out of, and then the color. Then I just kicked them all, cause I just got so got damn frustrated. So eventually I just shoved everything into my plastic traveling jewelry box. Now I guess all that's left to pack is all my beauty and hair products, the books imma read while im bored at home, my sunglasses, oh and my socks! swear that I just remembered that just now! damn it! Well I still have to go to the store to get some more lemon grass Dove body wash and a new dock charger for my ipod shuffle. I guess it's all worth it tho, cause Ill be residing in one of the best areas of the city. So OJFresh will be on a bit of a hiatus, prolly no new updates until Monday Night or something. So until then keep it Juicy!
I wanted this album so bad, and I never got it. My favorite song was "Bring It All To Me" and "I Do" I remember watching their PG rated music videos on the Disney Channel. I used to drive my daddy crazy, because I would spend countless minutes searching for the station that would be playing their song. They were so cool, they were like the disney version of TLC. Everytime I hear a song from the year 1997-2001 I think of middle school, neon clothing, glitter nail polish and those brandy braids I used to roc every summer. OMG! I actually miss being a pre-teen, this is shocking to me because when I was a pre-teen I swore on my life that I would never miss being 12. Wow! maybe I should road trip it to my old middle-school. But I bet nothing would be the same. Im pretty sure all my teachers have either retired or quit...but if I could go back I would. But this time I would stop my 12 year old self from stuffing my bra with shoulder pads.
So I went to happy harry's the other day to pick up some cherry flavored chapstick, because I was really craving it. So I was lookin everywhere for it and then I spotted something. It wasn't the cherry flavored chapstick, no, it was something even more appealing. It was a full stash of Lisa Frank folders! Suddenly images of elementary school popped into my head. The pencils adorned with pictures of cute little animated horses and monkeys. The erasers that came in neon green and pink, the trapper keepers, oh those bulky seizure instilling bright, Lisa Frank trapper keepers! Lisa Frank was the fashion icon for every girl in 5th grade. You were cool if you had anything Lisa Frank, but got damnit you were the coolest if you had the whole Lisa Frank set! I of course was poor and could therefore only afford the little mechanical pencils. But nonetheless I was still cool! but my goodness. I was so ready to buy one of those lil folders, until my friend Memo tapped me on my shoulder and said "um boo, chapstick remember?" I still had the urge to purchase the folder, but I realized I had only bought $1 to the store with me and I the more and more I decided which item to take home my lips were becoming more and more dry, So I slowly walked away from the Lisa Frank section, head down and all. I went into happy harry's that day feenin for some cherry flavored chapstick and I left feenin' for some Lisa Frank! So here's to you Lisa Frank An official OJ Fresh Tribute! may your ability to create rainbow, glittery happiness in elementary schools everywhere Suffice! for ever and ever!
Ok so there has been all this focus lately on emos lately, and I thought it was the right time to highlight one of America's Original Emos, Charlie Brown. It didn't don on me until today that Charlie Brown is the 2nd most known emo in the world ( Edgar Alan Poe of course took the top gun position). I mean think about it; Charlie Brown's nickname,Chuck, is as Emo as can be. He only had about 2 friends,a schizophrenic dog that was way cooler than him, and a blanket toting paranoid boy. In every comic strip or movie, Charlie Brown goes into some 10 minute emotional monologue about how he always screws up. And lastly, he got psychiatric help from some black haired girl with a grudge . Now if that taint the most emo-est scenario ever, I don't know what is. Next Time...Peppermint Patty: America's First Hipster.
Ok so I've been waiting to write this blog for weeks now, so finally here it goes. So the latest trend in hair is to roc hairstyles that reflect the culture of the 1980's through the early 90's. So I've seen a couple of brothers bringing back the High Top Fade, the Gumby. And I've def noticed some of the ladies, including myself, bringing back the Asymetrical Cut. But I've noticed one infamous hip hop hairstyle missing. I mean it still hasn't come back yet, and not that I think it needs to, I just want to see the guy (or girl) who has the balls to try it. That's right I'm talkin about the Jheri Curl! That greasy, moist, curly mess of life that was the most noted icon of the 80s. I mean, Michael Rocked It, Eazy-E Rocked it and that lil light skinned boy from "Family Matters" Rocked it. Maybe nobody has brought the Jheri Curl back because it requires the use of many aeresol spray cans to maintain it, and I guess with Global Warming and what not that would be endangering the planet even more, or whatever. So please please please if there is a Jheri Curl sighting, I need pics and lots of em! even if it's one person rockin it to a party. So be on the lookout!

But anyway I've been thinking about Halloween 08 and at first I wanted to be the sexy femme version of the mad hatter, but that Wonderland Scene has been played out by every Becky, April and Heather on Campus. Then I was thinking I'd be Supermodel retired Angel Tyra Banks, but then again I don't want anyone but my current beau(oo so sexxy boo!) getting a peek at my undie garments. So after much research and debate with my cerebellum...I've decided to be Mars Blackmon, but im renaming myself Marsha Blackmon, cuz im always the female version, until I decide to be Grace Jones. Now for all of you "lames" who don't know who Mars Blackmon is, here's a brief summary(that i cut and pasted from Wikipedia...to save time)"Mars Blackmon" was a fictional character from the 1986 film She's Gotta Have It. He is also the alter-ego of filmmaker Spike Lee. In the film, he was an immature, annoying, "Brooklyn-loving", sports-loving, die-hard New York Knicks fan. During the late 1980s and early 1990s, "Mars Blackmon" became the primary pitchman in Nike commercials for Air Jordans, the basketball shoes worn by former NBA player Michael Jordan. In these commercials, Mars Blackmon popularized the phrases "Is it the Shoes? Is it the Shoes? Is it the Shoes? … it's gotta be the shoes." and "Do you know?, Do you know?, Do you know?"
Ok so there it is, Im gonna be him. And just to give you the visuals... here's a pic...

and here's a video...
